Ball Valves

NPS 1" – 4" Full Bore

The SBV Class 300 ball valve is ideal for shutting off and regulating corrosive or toxic process media in liquid or gaseous form. The robust, lined design is engineered for higher pressure requirements and allows for operating pressures up to 50 bar / 725 psi, depending on the material.

Iso Flange

Upper flange conforming to ISO 5211 for direct mounting of actuators, which simplifies integration into automated systems. No ISO mounting kit required.

Metal-on-metal

The valve body halves are metal-to-metal (self-adjusting
permanent preload), which ensures greater reliability during temperature changes; the heavy-duty, robust design is maintenance-free and guarantees easy grounding of the valve for ATEX applications.

Sealing System

The innovative, self-adjusting sealing system ensures reliable, high-performance operation even under critical conditions—with extended, maintenance-free cycles. The latest TA-Luft zero-emissions certification (EN ISO 15848-1), which guarantees environmental safety and compliance.

Low-dead-space design

Thanks to the design with minimal dead space, less fluid remains in the valve—ensuring maximum process reliability, hygiene, and easy cleaning. Swissfluid’s SMART ball seats not only eliminate dead space but also reduce wear.

Main Features

Maintenance-free spindle seal that requires no readjustment

The preloaded spindle seal with a disc spring eliminates the need for external readjustment of the packing and reduces the associated risk of leakage. Complies with TA-Luft standards as shipped from the factory.

One-piece duplex ball and spindle

Forged from a single piece of duplex stainless steel, 25% stronger than ductile iron. The overload protection is located outside the valve and is designed to prevent leaks.

Metal-Sealed Housing Connection

The pipeline forces are absorbed by the flange. This prevents thermal expansion from being transmitted to the lining, the seats, or the stem seal. The valve remains leak-tight throughout its entire service life.

Housing designed for maximum durability

The housing, made of 1.0619 cast steel, offers an extended operating temperature range and greater strength than ductile iron. The 1.4408 cast stainless steel version offers high corrosion resistance.

Direct ISO 5211 drive connection

The drive connection allows for direct mounting of a drive without an additional mounting kit. Lower weight, more compact design, and no hysteresis in the control loop.

The SBV Class 300 ball valve was developed for demanding process applications involving corrosive and aggressive media. Thanks to its robust design and self-adjusting sealing system, it ensures a consistently reliable seal and a long, maintenance-free service life—even under high-pressure conditions.

The high-quality PFA lining, with a minimum thickness of 3 mm, reliably protects the body from corrosion and reduces dead spaces to a minimum thanks to its optimized internal geometry. The metal-on-metal housing design and the dynamic stem seal meet the requirements of TA-Luft (VDI 2440 / EN ISO 15848-1) and ensure maximum operational safety.

The Class 300 version is suitable for higher pressure ratings up to 50 bar / 725 psi and is designed with a full bore for optimal flow rates. The ISO 5211 mounting flange enables easy automation with pneumatic or electric actuators, making the ball valve a versatile solution for chemical and industrial process plants.
