SST sight glass fittings are suitable for monitoring the flow of liquid and gaseous process media in pipelines. The robust, tried-and-tested design is maintenance-free and enables reliable flow monitoring.
Available in flanged or welded versions, for horizontal or vertical installation, and in nominal diameters from DN15 to DN150. The sight glass panels are made of borosilicate glass in accordance with DIN 7080.
The SST-FD version features a housing and cover made of 1.4408 (CF-8M). In the SST-BW version, the housing is made of 1.4404 (CF-3M) and the cover of 1.4408 (CF-8M).
The large sight glass opening allows for optimal monitoring. A standard drip tip indicates even the smallest flow rates. Optional features include metal-fused glass, quartz glass, an FEP glass protection film, and an optical flow indicator for gases.
The SST sight glass fittings comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).
